Blood Orange and Ginger Shrub

A delicious winter-inspired shrub infusion that can be enjoyed with soda or in a fancy new cocktail. This infusion combines blood orange and fresh jamaican ginger.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Blood Oranges sliced
  • 3 inches Jamaican Ginger or Peruvian
  • 1.75 cups Brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash ginger thoroughly and roughly chop into small pieces

  2. In a sterile mason jar, add the rest of the ingredients and let this infuse in a dark, cool area over night. 

  3. After 12 hours, give the mason jar a shake so the sugar fully dissolves and let this sit for another 6 hours before straining out the contents. 

  4. Can be kept in the fridge, sealed, for 1 month.
