Poppin' Sangria (Red Wine Edition)

Just when you thought Sangria couldn't get better! This is the simplest and easiest recipe to a frozen Sangria

Difficulty: Easy

Servings 1 Popsicle
Author Monica C

  • 1 oz Red Wine Cabernet or Merlot recommended
  • 1/3 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1/3 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 2 Orange Wheels

  1. Place orange wheels inside the popsicle mold and make sure that it won't move after having liquid placed

  2. Pour all the ingredients listed into a spouted container to easily pour into molds

  3. Slowly pour liquids into molds

  4. Place in freezer upright for a minimum of 2 hours (overnight best)

  5. Before pulling the popsicle out, have the mold quickly run through hot water without getting any inside the mold and slowly start to pull the popsicle out of the mold.

Recipe Notes

The measures for these molds were 4 oz. Make sure to check the volume of your molds first, and adjust accordingly if the sizing is different from my measures!

You may have noticed that the amount of fluid in my ingredient list doesn't total to 4 oz. That's because I had to take in account the volume used when I placed the Orange Wheels inside. Remember to have it all mixed up before pouring into the mold. Any extra will have to be 'taken care of' in another way.
