Gingerbread Syrup

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp Fresh Ginger approx. 1 inch
  • cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Nutmeg Grated

Instructions

  1. In a saucer, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil

  2. Allow this to simmer for 5 minutes

  3. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating

  4. This Syrup can last for 2 weeks
