Corn Syrup

A delicious, simple syrup highlighting the delicious flavours of corn!

Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh Corn on the cob Already Boiled and Cooked
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 inch Jalapeno optional

Instructions

  1. Remove kernels from cooked corn and place in a blender

  2. Once your water has reached boiling point, pour 1 cup in the blender with sugar, salt and jalapeno (optional) and BLEND.

  3. Strain and let this cool to room temperature before storing in fridge. Can last up to 2 weeks in refrigerated.
