Corn Syrup

The second I tasted this syrup, I knew what I had here was GOLD! It truly brings out the brightness and sweet flavours of corn that we all love. Originally used in the Cornita Cocktail. Let me know how you end up using this in a cocktail or in your recipes by commenting below.

Corn Syrup

A delicious, simple syrup highlighting the delicious flavours of corn!

Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh Corn on the cob Already Boiled and Cooked
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 inch Jalapeno optional

Instructions

  1. Remove kernels from cooked corn and place in a blender

  2. Once your water has reached boiling point, pour 1 cup in the blender with sugar, salt and jalapeno (optional) and BLEND.

  3. Strain and let this cool to room temperature before storing in fridge. Can last up to 2 weeks in refrigerated.
