Sibling Rivalry Sangria Battle – Melon, Green Tea White Sangria & Blood Orange, Chai and Amaro Red Sangria

We’re doing something extra special for National Sibling Day! Liquid Culture has partnered up with Sibling Rivalry wine from Niagara, Ontario to put the ultimate Sangria battle to test. My brother and I compete on which Sangria is better, and we need your help to vote! We built special recipes that represent us, with my brother using the Sibling Rivalry White Blend and combines Melon and Green Tea for this delicious White Wine Sangria. Plus, I share how to put together a Blood Orange, Chai and Amaro Red Sangria that will have you looking at this classic differently. Check out all the details below!

Building a Melon, Green Tea White Sangria

I have to admit, I actually wanted to make a White Wine Sangria for everyone. But in terms of our personalities, this was all my brother. He rarely drinks Red Wine, and the flavours in this screams our childhood and everything that he’d love. We wanted to make sure that the Sangria’s we made were approachable and easy to replicate. That’s why our partnership with Sibling Rivalry made the most sense. Their White Wine blend is so approachable, with notes of fresh tropical fruit and orange blossom, which worked so well with flavours we decided to blend.

To make this Melon, Green Tea White Sangria, it doesn’t take much. We added some Soho Lychee Liqueur, an unsweetened Steeped Green Tea, and a bit of Dry Vermouth to keep this cocktail bright and fresh while lower in alcohol. Another key ingredient to bring this all together is the Pineapple Juice. Curious how it’s made? Recipe is right here!

Building a Blood Orange, Chai and Amaro Red Sangria

You’re probably here because you love either Blood Orange, Chai, Amaro and / or Red Wine Sangria. I can’t express how much more it is than what is written on this webpage. I ADORE this recipe (hence why I created it), so I may be biased that I love this one more, but it truly is delicious and worth creating at home. Big thanks to Sibling Rivalry for the delicious Red Blend which really complimented the notes of this Sangria. A Red Wine Blend is always a win when it comes to Choosing a wine for your Sangria mix, and I love to support my local wineries.

To build this Blood Orange, Chai and Amaro Red Sangria, you don’t need a ton. Plus with the citrus season in full swing, this is a great time to buy that bag of Blood Oranges. For all the recipe details, check it out below!
