The Office Cocktail Series – George Foreman Bacon Margarita

There are certain episodes that I swear I can quote, this being one of them. Who can EVER forget the moment we learn that Michael Scott burned his foot with a George Foreman Grill. Only Michael Scott….only him. So this breakfast inspired cocktail celebrates all things Bacon.

So here’s a little recap on what this episode is all about, in case you forgot. Since Michael Scott doesn’t have a “Butler”, every morning he sets up his George Foreman grill at the end of the bed, turns it on, goes back to bed so he can wake up to the smell of Bacon in the morning. Everyone does that, right? Well this unfortunate morning, he accidentally steps on the George Foreman grill and he is ‘disabled’ to come into work.

Guys…this episode is one of my favourite episodes of all time. You have the hysterical Michael, Dwight with a concussion which makes him more “personable”, and then there’s the meeting about disabilities. Priceless. Absolutely Priceless Episode.

With this iconic episode in mind, I knew I HAD to make a Bacon cocktail, and since it’s all about breakfast, we had to use some Maple Syrup. I’m bringing breakfast into the cocktail form of a Margarittaaaa, because why not?

I’ve used a Reposado Tequila, mixed with fresh lime, fresh pressed Honey Crisp Apples, touch of Maple Syrup and a Bacon Crumb Rim. If it wasn’t obvious enough, you’re just going to have to whip up this cocktail the next time you’re watching this episode. Cheers!
