Cranberry Puree

I’m in love with this puree. It’s simple, great for the holidays, and I’ve found myself using it in so many unique ways. You’ll even find it slightly adapted into the Christmas Sangria that will be featured in December. Make sure to comment below on how you’ve used this particular recipe!

Cranberry Puree

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Fresh Cranberries
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup Raisin
  • 1 zest Orange peel of the entire orange
  • 1/3 cup Orange Juice freshly squeezed from peeled orange

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in saucer and bring to a boil

  2. Allow this to simmer for 10 minutes

  3. Allow to cool slightly and blend all ingredients until it is a thick puree

  4. Store for 1 month in a sterile container in the refrigerator
