I know. My mouth drools when I start picturing this too. It’s everything you hope for…and more! It’s a little bit of bright guava fruit, with orange peel for some citrus, and cinnamon to tie all these wonderful flavours together. I love this syrup, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be using it in about EVERYTHING.
Guava, Orange and Cinnamon Syrup
An outstanding syrup to add to your recipe book, combining guava, orange peel and cinnamon!
- 7 Fresh Guava Using only the insides
- 1/2 Orange peel approximately 5 peels
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Water
In a small saucer, combine guava, orange peels, brown sugar and water and bring to a boil
Once it reaches boiling point, reduce down to a simmer and add cinnamon sticks for 5 minutes
Strain and let this reach room temperature before storing in the fridge. Lasts up to 2 weeks.
