I always have a focus for each cocktail I create, and I knew I wanted to pair up Raspberry with Gosling’s Black Seal Rum while being easy to make at home. I wanted to add a bitter component and since Campari works so well with berries, I thought why not add a dash of that for depth. The rest came together quite easily and as I mentioned, I wanted to make this accessible for home since COVID has supplies a bit limited right now. Hope you enjoy this incredible sipper this weekend!
A refreshing cocktail made with Gosling's Black Seal Rum that you can easily shake up at home!
– Difficulty: Easy
- 1.5 oz Gosling's Black Seal Rum
- 1/2 oz Campari
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup Made with Brown Sugar instead of Granulated (1:1)
- 1/3 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Orange Juice
- 1/2 oz Lemon Soda San Pellegrino used here
Fill your cocktail glass with ice.
Grab your shaker, fill with ice and all the ingredients except soda. Shake Vigorously.
Strain over fresh ice, top with lemon soda and garnish with extra raspberries.
For the Syrup, it’s easy to make this at home. Simply combine 1 part brown sugar with 1 part boiled water and stir until dissolved. You want to wait for it to reach room temperature before using. Can last in the fridge for 2 weeks.
