Whisky Apricot Jam Sour

For my collaboration with SIP Awards, I’m showing you how you can simply substitute Jam as your sweetener in a cocktail! Jam has a surprising way to shake up a unique cocktail, and I talk this and all sorts of Cocktail Hacks in this month’s Educational section. Today I am whipping up a Whisky Sour with Apricot Jam and SIP Award Winning Signal Hill Canadian Whisky! See how I shake it up below.

Whisky Apricot Jam Sour

This recipe shows you how to use Jam in your next cocktail! Infusing SIP Award Winning Signal Hill Canadian Whisky with Apricot Jam and Egg Whites.

– Difficulty: Intermediate

Servings 1 cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Signal Hill Whiskey
  • 1 large Spoonful of Apricot Jam
  • 1/2 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
  • 1 Egg White or Aquafaba can be substituted.

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, add all your ingredients. Give this a dry shake (without ice), shaking vigorously.

  2. Add ice to your shaker and shake vigorously once more, until the shaker is too cold to touch.

  3. Strain into your favourite coupe glass
